This summer, Brother Nature taught a couple of homeschooled students how to propagate various plants. Those kids then took what they learned and shared it with a group of YSU International Students.
They all had a super fun time!
Propagating plants is an affordable way to develop a pollinator garden. Knowing how to propagate perennials means you can grow new plants from the ones you already have—which means you won't have to pay for them!
This knowledge also creates an opportunity for someone to sell the plants they've propagated, turning a skill into a small business.
